Specialized Training for Business and Industry

The State of Tennessee provides a special benefit to the business and industrial communities located within the boundaries of Bedford, Coffee, Franklin, Lincoln, Marshall and Moore Counties offering specialized training through the Tennessee Technology Center at Shelbyville. As economic and technological advancements place new demands on businesses and industry and mandate employees be retrained, the Technology Center will work to develop courses and provide quality training to meet those needs.

We do the work: planning, registration, evaluation, selecting competent instructors, record keeping, and training.

Special programs may be developed for training in areas such as blueprint reading, industrial electricity, hydraulic, precision measurements, math for trades, pneumatics, computers, quality control, programmable logic controls/industrial controls, communication skills, computer technology and/or computer aided drafting (CAD). The goal of the Tennessee Technology Center at Shelbyville is to continue improving and expanding in all phases of programs and services to better serve our community.
