STUDENT COUNCIL ASSOCIATION
(S.C.A.)
 

STUDENT COUNCIL, Every full-time, registered student of the TTCS is eligible to represent their respective program but must have at least six months left to complete. Representatives are elected by their respective program. The candidate receiving the most votes will be elected. Elections of representatives and student officers are held upon completion or termination from the TTCS by the respective Student Council Association representative. STUDENT COUNCIL MISSION, The purpose of the Student Council Association shall be to ensure that in good faith the spirit and intent of the mission of the Student Council Association is met. The mission is as follows:

To provide fair representation of the student body.

To ensure the success of both students and the Tennessee Technology Center (TTC).

To promote and maintain an active communication between the administration, faculty, students and community.

To provide a medium for student expression.

To create an awareness among area employers and the public of what is provided at the TTC.

To directly reflect student needs and interests in the promotion of school activates.

To offer services to the school and community.

To help ensure the courses and curriculum stay on the cutting edge of technology.

To recommend and implement activities and programs to improve the moral of the students.

To conduct all elections of the student officers to include their own successors and officers of classes for ensuing years.

To ensure that in good faith the spirit and intent to the mission statements of the SCA are met.
