After receiving your email from the IT Department, you can begin using your email. With your account, you can use Microsoft Office Live (in the cloud). Whether you have Microsoft Office on your computer or not, you can login and use office to do homework, create your resume, use PowerPoint or use Excel Spreadsheets. If you save your documents, they automatically go to your Skydrive (7 gb of storage) so you can access and use the information anywhere in the world.
With dozens of benefits, you can also download Microsoft Live Essentials with free anti-virus software, Photo Gallery and Microsoft Live Mesh. Microsoft Mesh allows you to save a document wherever you are and the document or picture synchronizes with your other computers automatically so your information is saved to multiple devices simultaneously.
