Industrial Maintenance Student, Ethan Walp, Receives DARI Farmworker Achievement Award

Ethan Walp was determined eligible in 2010 and enrolled in TOPS' National Farmworker Jobs Program, which is authorized under Section 167 of the Workforce Investment Act. His only work experience was working with cattle and hay.  As a result of the job training services he received from TOPS and the subsequent certification he earned, Ethan was able to overcome signifcant obstacles to secure employment in Industrial Maintenance at Frito Lay.  A ceremony was held by Tennessee Opportunity Programs, Inc. to present Ethan with a DARI Farmworker Achievement Award.
